1/26/2023 We are staying at the Hilton Long Beach. It was a beautiful day to walk. We got in 6.19 miles. The weather was perfect at a high of 70 and blue skies. We spent the morning walking around the water front and checking out the sites. Late afternoon we had great seafood for our lunch/dinner. We are still on east coast time so we fell asleep early watching television.
Wednesday, January 25, 2023 Wade and I flew from Washington Dulles to Los Angeles. We were suppose to have a driver pick us up at home and drive us to the airport. Our original direct flight was moved from take off at 2:30 pm to 12:30 pm. The driver was taking someone to BWI before us and then coming to pick us up. Due to a snow storm we wanted to leave earlier for the airport so we drove to the airport instead.
We had a good flight to LA. At LAX we had to take a shuttle to get a taxi. The taxi ride to our hotel, Hilton Long Beach, took an hour and I was half nauseated until we arrived. The hotel is nice and we had a nice dinner before calling it a day.
